Chesi Jo's Baby Boutique opened in the spring of 2005. The boutique is run by Teresa Oden and Shelley Mower. Teresa is the owner and her cousin Shelley is the store manager. The store is located in the historic downtown section of Grants Pass , Oregon. Although Grants Pass is not a small town it is hours away from big city shopping. Being a grandmother and a shopper Teresa wanted to offer the residents of her community the opportunity to have access to Boutique brands and specialty items for their children and grandchildren without leaving the community to shop.

The ladies had so much fun and success their first eighteen months in business that they have now gone online with the Boutique, Chesibaby.com. One of the reasons we wanted to go online was because we live in a tourist town and we were always asked by our out of town customers if we were online. We received so many calls after people arrived back home from their vacations that we were doing a lot of shipping and they were doing their shopping from memory.
